Year 3 – Stone Age Day
Today, Year Three took part in their ‘Stone Age Day’. When they first arrived, they gathered around the ‘fire’ and kept themselves warm. The children then engaged in a range of different activities. Over the course of this half term, the children have been researching, designing and adapting Stone Age Shelters. Today, they create their final Stone Age shelters. The other activities the children engaged in are as follows: preparing and stewing fruit, creating cave art, Stone Age counting, writing letters from Stone Age children, researching and creating posters and working as Stone Age detectives.
