Sacred Heart awarded the Activemark
Sacred Heart was recently awarded the Activemark for the provision of high quality PE. With the children enjoying at least two hours of PE per week and having the opportunity to join in with extra-curricula sport (taster sessions and after-school clubs), KS2 already meets the Government’s long term aim of offering five hours of sport per week.
Mrs Kennedy, PE co-ordinator, proudly received the award on behalf of the school, from the newly appointed Partnership Development Manager for Torbay Sports Partnership, John Julyan.
The Activemark is an award that is reassessed each year and ‘we are determined to maintain this high standard,’ said Mrs Kennedy.
