At Sacred Heart RC Nursery & Primary School, our aim is to is to teach our pupils the skills and language of music in order for them to be expressive and creative in their approach to music, no matter what their ability. We recognise that music reflects different cultures and societies as well as being a powerful tool to bond our local community. We also recognise that music can reflect and support our own understanding of time and place. We will learn to sing together with great joy on a regular basis and will be able to perform our ideas with confidence in a safe environment.
